Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

CycleScope Model Trades collects minimal information necessary to provide our services:

• Apple Sign-In Data: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name (if you choose to share it), email address (which may be a private relay address), and a unique Apple user identifier.
• Account Record: We store your user ID, name, email, and sign-in provider in our database to authenticate your sessions.
• Subscription Status: If you purchase a Pro subscription, we store your subscription state (active / expired / cancelled), product identifier, and subscription period in our database so the app can unlock paid features.
• Purchase Receipts: Apple provides us with a purchase receipt at the time of subscription, which is validated through our subscription processor (RevenueCat). We do not receive or store your Apple ID, payment method, or billing address.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect analytics or usage tracking data
• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs
• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect financial or brokerage account information
• We do not use cookies (this is a mobile application)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

• Authenticate your identity and maintain your login session
• Provide access to model portfolio data and stock charts
• Process subscription purchases and restore them across your devices

Third-Party Services

Our application interacts with the following third-party services:

• Apple Sign-In: For authentication. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Polygon.io: For stock price and chart data. Your personal information is not shared with Polygon.io; only stock ticker symbols are sent to retrieve market data.
• Apple In-App Purchase: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple. Billing, payment, and renewal are handled entirely by Apple. Subject to Apple Media Services Terms.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage and validate subscriptions. When you purchase or restore a subscription, your app-assigned user identifier and the Apple purchase receipt are sent to RevenueCat. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or payment details. Subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage & Security

Your account and subscription data are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway, a cloud platform with industry-standard security practices. Subscription metadata (status, product identifier, expiry) is additionally mirrored on RevenueCat's servers for receipt validation. All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using iOS Keychain (via Expo SecureStore).

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Cached data on your device (portfolio data, chart data) is stored temporarily with short expiration periods (5–15 minutes) and is cleared when you sign out.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share limited data with Apple and RevenueCat strictly as payment and subscription processors, as described in the Third-Party Services section above. We may disclose information only if required by law or to comply with a legal process.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your account information (visible in the Settings screen)
• Delete your account and all associated data at any time using the "Delete Account" option in the app's Settings screen
• Sign out at any time, which clears all cached data from your device

Children's Privacy

This application is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CycleScope Model Trades, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

Description of Service

CycleScope Model Trades is a mobile application that displays model portfolio performance data from swing trading and long-term investment strategies. The app provides:

• Weekly and monthly stock scan rankings across multiple stock lists
• Model portfolio holdings and performance tracking
• Interactive stock charts with technical indicators
• Strategy performance summaries

User Accounts

Access requires signing in with your Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the application for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute the data presented in the application
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the application

Intellectual Property

All content, analysis, data, and materials in CycleScope Model Trades are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CycleScope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application, including but not limited to investment losses, data loss, or business interruption.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

CycleScope Model Trades offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks premium features (model portfolios, detailed weekly scans, stock charts, performance analytics). The following terms apply:

• Price and duration: The Pro subscription is $49.99 USD per month and auto-renews monthly until cancelled. Pricing in other currencies is set by Apple's App Store based on your region.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: The subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing or cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of a period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by CycleScope. You may request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Restoring purchases: If you reinstall the app or switch devices (using the same Apple ID), you can restore your subscription from within the app's Settings screen.
